It was a fantastic week, full of great moments and beautiful places. We did 2200 km in the Corsita around some of the nicest area in France, here you could see our roadmap.
You could find a small selection of the pictures I took on my flickr album..
The route crosses the “Gaalgebierg” leisure centre (it includes a campsite and an animal reserve) to the mining area of “Eisekaul” and the forestry school. It continues towards the “Belle Promenade” chalet, then turns to the right, passing close by the pond at “Ellergronn”, and heads for the J. Cockerill mines. It returns to the “Gaaalgebierg” and through forests.

This spectacular route is one of the loveliest and most popular in the country. At “Buurgkapp” (camp site) archaelogical excavations have unearthed protohistoric ramparts. Strange rock formamations can be seen along the route, with such poetic names as “Goldfralay”, Ëilebuurg”, “Rammelay” or “Schelmenlay”. The route also passes the “Schiessentumpel”, an artificial waterfall in the rocky bed of the Back Ernz.

I had never thought that to cook sushi could be so funny as it was this time.

The route enters the forest, clibbs up to the Belvedere of Hockslay, then goes dowhill towards the picturesque valley of the Girschterbaach. It climbs once more into the hills of the opposite banck offering beautiful views of the valley of the Schlinder with the white chapel of St. Micheal. Having reached the insolated houses of the Friedbesch, it returns to Jauterbach by the Ardennes plateaux wit the vantage-point of Oberscheid (473m) and a final, rather steep descent.
