The route heads towards the Esch/Sure dam, then follows the lake through the woods before climbing up the wooded hill that overlooks the lake, towards the road from Kaundorf to Esch/Sure, where it turns to the right,. It stays on the plateau, continuing along the road for some 2km (Iron cross: ” Kiischte Kreiz”) before going downhill rather steeply towards the valley of the Sure. A forest path leads back to the starting poing.
